Assistant Professor

Steel and Composite Structures, TU Delft - Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences

Dr Marko Pavlovic is assistant professor at group of Steel and Composite Structures, TU Delft – Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences. His focus is on high performance reusable structural components through experiments and Finite Element Modelling. He investigates hybrid FRP and steel structures on the laminate level and on the level of structural components and their joints. His background is in design and research of steel-concrete hybrid beams, high strength steel, joining techniques, bridge design and advanced structural analysis.

In addition to academic achievements he has more than 10 years of experience in cooperation with industry through consultancy on projects regarding buildings, bridges, carparks, wind turbine towers, etc. Marko teaches TU Delft MSc courses on FRP Structures, Steel Bridges and collaborates on MSc course on Fatigue at TU Delft – CiTG. He supervises bachelor, master and PhD students in fields of FRP and steel and hybrid structures.
